I hope you all had a great weekend. I had a lot of fun with the stamp give away on facebook, and I’m busy today getting all of the envelopes addressed and ready to mail. The mail will go out tomorrow, so the stamps will be on their way soon.
Until then, I wanted to share a get well card with you all. I don’t know about you, but I seem to always have the need for a quick and simple get well card. The stamp set I used is Get Well Mini Set. It’s a great two piece set to use for those quick cards.

Get Well Mini Set
I took this picture pretty close up so I could show you the stickles I used to add just an extra little sparkle to the card. I used some scraps I had on hand, and stamped the dotted “border” strip with the dotted stamp in the set. Just a sweet, quick little card to brighten up someone’s day!
And, since it is Monday, I’d like to start the week off right. How about a blog giveaway? I’ve got one of these stamp sets just waiting to find a new home. Just post a comment to this thread for a chance to win one. It could be yours!
Have a happy Monday!
I’m trying to increase the fans of the Wildflower Stamps page on facebook. Please head over there and find our page. Once you become a fan, send me your email address and I’ll send you a free stamp!

Distressed Sunflower Card
Ok, people. Here we go. Let’s see how this works out. I think I’ve just about got things to the point I can start sharing ideas here on a regular basis.
As I get better at the whole blogging thing, I’ll start to add step out instructions too, but for today I’m happy to get this posted.
Here’s a quick and simple card using our new set – Little Birdie. I think this is going to be a great set for quick and easy cards. I can see some cute scrapbook embellishments, too.
I wanted to use the new Basic Grey Writer’s Block journaling notes. So, I chose the one I wanted and then picked out a matching scrap of patterned paper, as well as matching ink. It only took a few minutes to stamp the tree and bird, cut them out and then layer all my pieces. Once I had the look I wanted, I adhered everything down (pop dots for the bird), added the swirl stamp in the top left corner, inked the edges of the card…and there you have it! A super quick and easy card that looks great.

Thanks for visiting today!
Well, hello again!
So, if you have found this blog, you’ll notice a few things. First, not so many updates. Second, not so many pictures. And third, not very inspiring. Yep, I’d agree to all of that. But, the great thing about a blog is that you can start over. Reinvent yourself. Kind of exciting isn’t it?
I’ve spent the last few years running a family, a brick and mortar scrapbooking business, a stamp company, and trying to stay sane. We just sold our scrapbooking store in anticipation of a move to Nebraska. Now, without the store to run, I can concentrate on my family and Wildflower Stamps. If you don’t know me personally, I can tell you I have a lot of interests in the scrapbooking and stamping industries. I’m not a linear crafter. I’m all over the place. So, while this is the Wildflower Stamps blog, you may find a little bit of everything here – an eclectic mix of things. Hopefully, above all you’ll find inspiration. That’s my goal.
So, time to get this thing back on track. One step at a time. Hope you enjoy the ride as much as I will.
Here’s to new beginnings!
Andra
P.S. – If you are one of my wonderful Scrapbooking Up North customers, thank you for all your support! PLEASE feel free to email me anytime, comment on my blog, and stay in touch. I’m moving, but that doesn’t mean I’m not here. Also, PLEASE continue to support Christa in her new endeavor as owner of Scrapbooking Up North. It’s so great to have a local business dedicated to the craft we love. It’s YOUR support that keeps us going, and we appreciate it more than you know.
So, I just checked the Wildflower Stamps blog and noticed I hadn’t posted for MONTHS!!!
What, you may ask, have I been doing and what’s up with Wildflower? Well, nothing’s up, really. Wildflower has been going strong and great all this time. We’ve just been busy with a retail store we purchased in October. The name of the store is Scrapbooking Up North, and we’ve been working really hard to learn everything we need to keep it going. I’m still designing stamps and operating Wildflower, and in the “extra” time I have run Scrapbooking Up North. Crazy, huh?
We’ve hired an employee to help us get the website updated with all the new stamps, and by the end of the summer we should have everything good to go. Until then, I’m going to be blogging more and showing you some of the cool stuff Wildflower has going on.
Hope all is well with you!
