Bloggin’ about Wildflower Stamps

…go ahead, read about ‘em

Here we go!

Ok, people. Here we go. Let’s see how this works out. I think I’ve just about got things to the point I can start sharing ideas here on a regular basis. ;)   As I get better at the whole blogging thing, I’ll start to add step out instructions too, but for today I’m happy to get this posted.

Here’s a quick and simple card using our new set – Little Birdie. I think this is going to be a great set for quick and easy cards. I can see some cute scrapbook embellishments, too.

I wanted to use the new Basic Grey Writer’s Block journaling notes. So, I chose the one I wanted  and then picked out a matching scrap of patterned paper, as well as matching ink. It only took a few minutes to stamp the tree and bird, cut them out and then layer all my pieces.  Once I had the look I wanted, I adhered everything down (pop dots for the bird), added the swirl stamp in the top left corner, inked the edges of the card…and there you have it!  A super quick and easy card that looks great.
